Mom Life Twin World

Four years ago I found out that I was pregnant with twins!  Like you, I was overcome with joy and anticipation at what a life with twins would be like. Also like you, that excitement quickly turned into fear. Having one child seemed like a challenge in and of itself.  Having two at the same time seemed scary and sometimes even impossible.  Thoughts of what being pregnant with two babies would feel like, how to stay in shape during the pregnancy, what to expect during delivery, what was the first week home going to be like, how to create a sleep schedule for the twins, how to potty train toddlers in a twin world and many more thoughts crossed my mind.

Realizing that I needed to be prepared for the challenge of being a mom in a twin world, I knew I needed to have a plan to succeed.  With a new focus on preparation, I set out to research all the things that I would need to know to be successful with twins.  Unfortunately most of what was out there was directed more to moms who were having one baby and I felt things I was reading were not going to fully prepare me for this new life.  That’s when I started to compile a list of anything I thought I would need to be successful. After having the twins, I tried and failed at many ideas but eventually found things that worked!

Now, I am bringing all my successes to you!  This site was designed to be a one-stop find to all your twin world needs like tips on how to stay organized and plan your day with twins.  Like how to survive the grocery store and keys to traveling with twins for a fun and enjoyable vacation, just to name a few.  I also wanted to have a location for you to find products that work with quick links to purchase an item that you think will work for your family.  And most importantly, I want you to find a friend in me and a community of other moms who are going through the same things you are!  I am so happy you are here! What was your first thought when you found out you were having twins? I remember the Dr showing me the first heartbeat on the ultrasound and then he said “and this is why you’ve been so sick”! I cried with joy. Nothing compares to that moment of knowing there were TWO babies growing inside my belly! I’d love to hear your story!
